1. Current status
Blueward Diaries does not currently use active affiliate programmes, affiliate tracking scripts, affiliate cookies or commission-generating links on the public website.
Some technical components are already capable of displaying future affiliate recommendations, but they currently contain only static content or ordinary external links and do not automatically contact an affiliate provider or store tracking identifiers.
2. How affiliate links may work
Future articles, travel guides, recommendation pages, videos or newsletters may contain clearly identified affiliate links.
If you click such a link and subsequently make a purchase or booking, Blueward Diaries may receive a commission from the relevant provider or affiliate network. The price you pay will normally not increase as a result.
3. Clear identification
Affiliate and other commercial content will be clearly identified where required, for example as ‘Affiliate link’, ‘Advertisement’, ‘Commercial recommendation’ or through a comparable clear disclosure.
Where a page or newsletter contains affiliate links, a visible disclosure will be placed near the beginning of the relevant content or close to the commercial recommendation.
4. Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships do not determine the editorial opinion of Blueward Diaries. Recommendations are intended to reflect genuine experiences, research or editorial judgment.
However, visitors should understand that Blueward Diaries may receive financial compensation if a qualifying booking or purchase is made through an affiliate link.
5. Data processing
No affiliate tracking technology is currently active on this website.
When a specific affiliate programme is introduced, clicking an affiliate link may redirect the visitor to an external provider or affiliate network. That external provider may process information such as the visitor’s IP address, browser or device information, the referring page, the clicked link, the time of the click and an affiliate identifier. Cookies, tracking links or similar technologies may be used to attribute a later booking or purchase.
The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and consent setup will be updated before or when a specific affiliate programme or tracking technology becomes active.
